New Ice Cream Shop open in Makishi Market

 I scream, you scream, we all scream for a frozen fruit product on a cone, otherwise known as ice cream.

Ah yes, ice cream.

Childhood memories of desperately chasing the ice cream truck as it taunts you with its luring lullaby and then the driver laughs at your pitiful attempts to buy a cone with a penny and a bit of string you found in your pocket because you were THAT desperate to try and cool off on the hot summer day, but enough of my suppressed childhood memories. There is a new Gelato Shop on the second floor of the Makashi Kousetsu Market for all you ice cream lovers out there.

The Gelato Shop Heart and Berry Makishi shop opened on January 5th, 2010 and is full of delicious ice creamy goodness. Mix gelato with fresh fruit of your choosing (and its Okinawa so you KNOW the fruit is fresh), and receive a personalized ice cream combination. 

Fresh Strawberry: Regular is 500yen/ small is only 300yen

Fresh Pineapple: Regular is again 500 yen/ and small is yet again only 300 yen.

The Okinawa Zenzai (sweet bean): Regular is 400yen/ and small is 250 yen.

And many many more.
